Our Corrections Committee provides an exceptionally valuable service to our community by bringing the AA message to incarcerated individuals and groups.  

Help us carry our experience strength and hope to:

Before being admitted to a corrections facility, AA members are required to apply for eligibility for the County Jail or State Prison; each has its own application process .  Please click on the links above for appropriate application forms.

BRIDGING THE GAP
Connect with AA’s being released from jail or prison

“Bridging the Gap” is a temporary contact program offered by Alcoholics Anonymous to persons leaving treatment and re-entering the community.

This program assists clients who request help finding meetings and rides, making the transition from treatment to the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous easier- thereby ‘bridging the gap’ between treatment and recovery in their community.

A local AA member will volunteer to contact a patient on his/her discharge date or shortly thereafter to help him/her find local meetings and start building a support group.

CORRECTIONS CORRESPONDENCE FORM – a special kind of AA Service

The Corrections Correspondence Service is a Twelfth Step opportunity which links A.A. members on the “outside” with A.A. members in correctional facilities to provide a source of experience as it relates to problems with alcohol.
